Upland Bird Hunt
Come hunt old farmlands, orchards and thousands of acres of public land. Acres and of acres of aspen regeneration provide excellent cover for grouse and woodcock. Grouse and woodcock populations were good in 2020. Thirty to forty flushes a day is common. Hunt over our dogs or bring your own. Season is September and October.
The first 3 weeks of October are best for grouse and woodcock. You can combine bird hunting with salmon fishing if you wish; fishing salmon on the Main S.W. Miramichi and Cains River. Packages include guide with dogs, home cooked meals, accommodations, transportation to and from hunting and fishing sites.
